Groesbeck Gears Up for Spectacular July 4th Celebrations

Groesbeck is set to dazzle residents and visitors with an exciting lineup of July 4th festivities this year. From a hearty pancake breakfast to a grand fireworks display, the town promises a day full of fun and patriotic spirit.
Kickstart your Independence Day with a free pancake breakfast hosted by the First Methodist Church at 8:30 a.m. Held at the MAC Building, located at 212 W Navasota, this morning feast is sure to fuel you for the day's activities.
Then don't miss the annual Groesbeck July 4th Parade as it marches through downtown starting at 10:30 a.m. Sponsored by the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce, the City of Groesbeck, and the Groesbeck Police Department, the parade is a time-honored tradition that showcases the community's pride and unity.
The festivities continue at the Groesbeck Convention Center with the Miss Firecracker Pageant at 2 p.m. For just $5, spectators can enjoy a patriotic showcase of talent and grace. Entrants, who will check in from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., will compete in various age groups, presenting both patriotic and formal wear, and answering an onstage question for those aged five and up. Concessions featuring tacos, burgers, candy, and drinks will be available, and Three Little Lemons will offer fresh lemonade.
