Community Unites for Successful Miss July 4 Pageant Izabella Lima crowned Miss Firecracker 2024

The first annual Miss Firecracker Pageant lit up the Groesbeck Convention Center on July 4th, dazzling attendees with a of patriotic and formal wear. Organized under the guidance of Michelle Latray and sponsored by the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce, the event brought together local beauty queens, vendors, and supporters to celebrate Independence Day in style.
Assisting in the proceedings were Miss Fall Frolic, Brianna Latray, and Miss Limestone County, Gabriella Trevino. Around 300 people attended the event and around 50 young ladies fom ages 0-13 vyed for the crown.
Vendors included Jennifer Oliver with an ABSA fundraiser and Three Little Lemons, offering a variety of goods to the delighted crowd.
The Chamber's commitment to this annual fundraiser event was evident, as plans are already in place to establish a scholarship in its name in the future. This dedication reflects the community's enthusiasm for supporting local talent and fostering opportunities for young achievers.
With the Chamber's ongoing support and the dedication of passionate individuals like Michelle Latray, the Firecracker Pageant is sure to become a staple of Independence Day celebrations in Groesbeck for years to come.
