An undercover Michigan State Police detective was on the receiving end of gunfire while conducting a case-related drive on Detroit's east side this past Friday, authorities confirmed. As per a report by CBS News, the incident transpired near the intersection of Curt Street and Van Dyke Avenue at approximately 7:50 a.m. yesterday, luckily neither the detective nor the vehicle was hit by the gunfire and no civilian injuries were reported.
