Melvindale Mourns Fallen Officer Mohamed Said as Hundreds Honor Him in Funeral Services
The Dearborn community commemorated the life of Melvindale police Cpl. Mohamed Said, who was fatally shot in the line of duty, through a series of moving funeral services and public shows of respect yesterday. Said, only 26, was slain while responding to a situation near a gas station on Oakwood Boulevard and Dix Road in Melvindale, according to The Detroit Free Press.

According to the information released by WWJ Newsradio, LaNay was last seen at her residence on the 14900 block of Greenfield, between Fenkell and Grand River, on Detroit's northwest side. The time of her disappearance is reported as 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20th.
