    Driver dead after car flips over multiple times in Mercer County

    PINE Twp., Pa. (WKBN) — Police and Fire crews responded to an accident in Mercer County.

    According to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police, it happened on Tieline Road in Pine Township outside of Grove City before 1 a.m.

    The driver was traveling south when the vehicle partially crossed the east side of the road and then traveled back to the west side. The car then overturned multiple times, landing on its roof in a cornfield.

    The driver Jesse Amon, 28, of Jackson Center, was trapped in the front cab of the vehicle when crews arrived.

    Amon was pronounced dead on the scene.
