RAM Clinic returns to Grundy, seeking volunteers

GRUNDY, Va. (WJHL) — A Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic will return to Grundy, Virginia on Oct. 12 and 13.

Organizers are seeking volunteer medical, dental and vision professionals and support staff for the clinic. The nonprofit said it also needs volunteers for the overnight parking lot and interpreters.

The free, no ID required event will be at Riverview Elementary/Middle School (27382 Riverside Drive) in Grundy.

All services are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Some of the services offered at the clinic include dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, x-rays, eye exams, eye health screenings, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, women’s health
exams and general medical exams.
