    Mississippi man pleads guilty to brandishing firearm at mail carrier

    GULFPORT, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A Gulfport man pled guilty to brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

    According to court documents, Rusty Holloway, 42, brandished a firearm on October 20, 2022, at a U.S. Postal employee mail carrier when she was delivering mail to a residence in Gulfport.

    Alabama man killed in Mississippi bar shooting

    Holloway is scheduled to be sentenced on October 17, 2024, and faces a minimum penalty of  seven years in prison and a maximum of life in prison.

    The United States Postal Inspection Service is investigating the case.
