The Horn and Clark families in coastal Mississippi and Alabama have long been synonymous with the seafood industry. Grenada police make arrest in deadly shooting case
GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) – Grenada police arrested and charged a man with the shooting death of another man almost six months after the incident. The shooting happened on January 27, 2024, on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Grenada. Four people were shot. Charles Coffey died in the shooting.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in store for our Saturday and Sunday
Bits and pieces of low pressure lingered in our area today, along a stationary front. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms were the rule once again across our area on our Friday. Some of the rainfall was on the heavy side at times and some of the thunderstorms were on the hefty side at times. We did see temperatures top off well below the normal for the time of the year, which happens to be right around 93 degrees. Most of the high temperatures on our Friday topped off in the 80s. Most of the heat index values were in the 80s and 90s. Beyond the isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms we did see variably cloudy to mostly cloudy skies as the rule.
