Young boy struck by vehicle in Firestone Park July 11 has died
The young boy who was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in Firestone Park on July 11 has died, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office. Kingston Solomon, 7, passed away the next day, July 12, at Akron Children's Hospital at 2:35 p.m. His death was from blunt force trauma to the head and was ruled an accident, Gary Guenther of the medical examiner's office said.

Colorado's Wheat Ridge Police Department saved two animals from a hot camper on a 93-degree day earlier this month after a concerned citizen called for help. The walk will begin at the Marvin Park parking lot off Sackett Avenue in Salida.
