More and more trail systems nationwide are considering allowing class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes on their non-motorized singletrack or have already given the green light. SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah baseball program was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association this week with the Team Academic Excellence Award. Presented to the Utes for the third straight season, the honor is given to programs with a team cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the recently-completed school year. Cause of Wednesday’s Provo Canyon fire unknown
PROVO, Utah — An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire that started near the mouth of Provo Canyon on Wednesday night. According to Provo Fire and Rescue Capt. Jeanie Atherton the Provo Canyon fire started around 11 p.m. The fire burned on the northbound side of Interstate 189 where Canyon Road merges with University Avenue. Atherton said the fire was on the hillside to the east.
