    Huntsville Utilities: Power restored after outage in Gurley

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) — Huntsville Utilities say crews have restored power after an outage in Gurley Wednesday.

    The utility company said an outage impacted customers from Sharps Cove Raod South to Highway 72 and from Browsboro Road East to the Jackson County Line.

    At 3:35 p.m., Huntsville Utilities said service had been restored to the area. A small group of customers around 316 Hurricane Creek Road are still without service until repairs are finished.

    According to the company’s outage map, the outage was affecting 791 customers as of 3:15 p.m.

    The company said the cause of the outage has not yet been confirmed and power will be restored as quickly as possible.
