Alaska prosecutors release photos of possible third victim in sentencing for convicted killer Brian Smith
Prosecutors have released photographs of a possible third victim in the case of Brian Smith, who was convicted in February of killing two Alaska Native women. The images allegedly came from one of Smith’s cellphones and were included in a sentencing memorandum filed last week, just ahead of Smith’s sentencing, which is set to begin Friday morning.

A pastor reportedly hit his wife in the head while on a flight from Seattle, Washington, to Anchorage, Alaska, and is now banned from ever flying with the airline again. Anchorage man fired shotgun at police and stranger before officers shot him, charges say
A man shot and critically injured by Anchorage police on Monday morning had fired a shotgun at officers and threatened others, according to a charging document. According to a criminal complaint filed this week, officers were called by an employee of a Circle K gas station on Bragaw Street who said that a man in camouflage clothing was yelling at another customer while holding a shotgun.

(TEI) purchased a warehouse at 501 West 58th Avenue from Chugach Alaska Corporation.
