Pedro Sao Tiago grabbed two assists in getting goals to Joao Pedro Giraldez Franco and Guilherme Mendes in the second half to push the Wildcats (1-0-0) past Texas Wesleyan Rams (0-2-0). Adrian Amoros Navarro scored the other goal for LCU. The Wildcats outshot the Rams 26-4, not allowing a single shot in the second half. Adrian Amoros Navarro and Thiago Lopes each had six shots for LCU. Rodrigo Silva had one save.
