I love this yogurt granola parfait recipe! It’s so simple and quick to put together, perfect for a healthy breakfast or a light dessert. The best part is how customizable it is. Sometimes I add a bit of vanilla extract or cinnamon to the yogurt for extra flavor. I also like to switch up the berries depending on what’s in season or what I have on hand.

Yogurt Granola Parfait with Fresh Berries

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups of plain or flavored yogurt (Greek yogurt works great for a thicker texture)
    • 1 cup of granola (store-bought or homemade)
    • 1 cup of fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
    • Honey or maple syrup (optional, for drizzling)
    • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Ingredients:
      • Wash the fresh berries thoroughly and pat them dry.
      • If using larger berries like strawberries, hull and slice them.
    2. Layer the Granola:
      • Start by spooning a layer of granola into the bottom of a clear glass or bowl.
    3. Add the Yogurt:
      • Spoon a layer of yogurt on top of the granola.
    4. Add the Berries:
      • Sprinkle a layer of fresh berries over the yogurt.
    5. Repeat the Layers:
      • Repeat the layers by adding another layer of granola, followed by yogurt, and then more berries. Continue until you reach the top of the glass or bowl, ending with a layer of berries.
    6. Optional Garnish:
      • Drizzle a little honey or maple syrup over the top for added sweetness.
      • Garnish with a few mint leaves for a pop of color and extra flavor.
    7. Serve Immediately:
      • Enjoy your yogurt parfait right away while the granola is still crunchy.

    Tips:

    • Feel free to customize the parfait with your favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds.
    • For added flavor, you can mix a little vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon into the yogurt.
