    This burger is simple yet packed with flavor, perfectly layering each ingredient for the ultimate bite every time!


    The Perfect Single Patty Bacon Cheese Burger

    Ingredients:

    • For the Beef Patty:
      • 1/3 lb (150g) ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
      • 1/4 tsp salt
      • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
      • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
      • 1/4 tsp onion powder
      • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • For the Toppings:
      • 2 slices smoky bacon
      • 1 slice pepper jack cheese
      • 1 slice Swiss cheese
      • 2-3 thin slices of ripe tomato
      • 2 brioche buns, halved
      • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Beef Patty:
      • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined, then form into a thick patty, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center to prevent the patty from puffing up.
    2. Cook the Bacon:
      • In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain.
    3. Grill the Patty:
      • Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
      • Cook the patty for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Just before the patty is fully cooked, place a slice of pepper jack cheese and a slice of Swiss cheese on top. Allow them to melt over the meat.
    4. Toast the Buns:
      • While the patty is cooking, lightly toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.
    5. Assemble the Burger:
      • Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom bun.
      • Place the tomato slices on top of the mayonnaise.
      • Add the grilled beef patty with the melted cheeses on top of the tomato slices.
      • Place the crispy bacon strips on top of the cheese.
      • Spread the remaining tablespoon of mayonnaise on the inside of the top bun, then place it on top of the bacon.
    6. Serve:
      • Serve immediately with your favorite sides and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors!
