There are so many parts of me. There is the happy me, the angry me, I'm tired and over it me, and the deep in thought, so don't talk to me - me. So, try not to be too judgemental of the person you see, wait long enough - I'll change.

Diagnosed with epilepsy in 1970, my brain disorder and I have traveled roads high and low, dealing with life's challenges.

However, the journey that has been the most profound has been the one deep within, the one between my ears and behind my eyes, the path to find myself. This is a sojourn that will take me to the very end of my days.

So, good luck to all who are in search of something special about yourself, trying to make sense of your existence.

Tips and advice:

• Give yourself a pat on the back whenever the hell you want
• Do what you love for a living - life's too damn short to do otherwise
• Don't apologize for being the person you are
• Don't be afraid to like the person you are - if you don't why should anyone else like you?
• The best advice I can give is: "Never take anyone's advice!"
