Police: 4 men carjack New York man at Hackensack Wawa

An early morning carjacking at a Wawa in Hackensack has residents on edge.

Police say a 43-year-old man from New York reported that four men approached him and forcefully took several of his belongings, including his 2018 Land Rover.

No injuries were reported.

News 12 New Jersey was told the convenience store on River Street is a popular place for Uber and Lyft drivers.

The incident is currently under investigation. News 12 is waiting to hear from police if they have a description of any of the suspects and whether any arrests have been made.
