Reign In The Rain: Chris Meyer Gets Second Consecutive Late Model Win At Stafford
STAFFORD – June 21 at Stafford Speedway was a night Chris Meyer wanted to forget as quickly as possible. A brake failure in Meyer’s Late Model sent his team on a mad dash attempting to make repairs, but the rush to get ready for the feature just led to more and more issues with the car. Meyer and his team couldn’t get the the car repaired in time and missed the night’s feature.
Wareham Walmart Has No Shopping Bags

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to racing on Friday, July 5th with a Weekly Racing Series program. David Arute claimed his first SK Modified® feature victory of the 2024 season while Chris Meyer came up a winner in the Late Model feature for the second consecutive week. Tyler Chapman scored his fifth win of the season in the SK Light feature, Kevin Cormier became the 9th different Limited Late Model winner in as many races this season, and Travis Hydar notched his third consecutive win and his sixth win of the season in the Street Stock feature.

Wellesley's Michael Li made three a magic number at the 2024 New England Junior Tennis Championships. He won the boys 14 & under division title as the No. 3 seed Tuesday at Amherst College, beating No. 1 seed Joshua Chen of Lexington in the final. Li was a finalist in 2022 in the boys 12 and under tournament. His victory earned him an automatic spot in the Level 2 Northeast Team Cup at the end of July. Every age group champion will be honored at the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, Rhode Island, in July.
