• The descendants of William and Rohann Brandenburg will gather for their 70th reunion on Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Wolfsville Ruritan Community Park, 12708 Brandenburg Hollow Road, Myersville, Md. • The descendants of Lemuel and Sadie Mellott will gather for a picnic lunch on Sunday, Aug. 4, at Washington County Regional Park, 20025 Mt. Aetna Road, Hagerstown. Bring a dish to share, to be served at 1 p.m. Chicken will be provided.

• The Antietam Detachment No. 113 Marine Corps League of Washington County will meet Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 7 p.m. at Morris-Frock American Legion Post 42, 405 Northern Ave., Hagerstown.
