HONOLULU (Island News) - The victim in a fatal vehicle fire in the Salt Lake area was a female, according to an autopsy report. On Saturday, Honolulu police and firefighters responded to the early morning fire call on Malaai Street and Lawehana Road. They found a four-panel van engulfed in flames. HFD put out the fire in about 25 minutes and found a body that could not be identified as male or female, in the driv er's seat.
