A Winder man has been found safe after authorities said he went swimming by himself in Lake Lanier Monday night and his friends were unable to find him. Hall County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman B.J. Williams said Zachary Rutledge, age 20, was reported missing by his friends who had been with him at Burton Mill Park near Flowery Branch. They told authorities they lost track of Rutledge while they were swimming.
