SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A large truck struck a Keithville man then fled the scene, another vehicle then struck the victim as was lying on the ground. On July 18, around 12:04 a.m., the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) responded to a fatal hit-and-run on Highway 789 near Elaine Drive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a large truck traveling northbound on HWY 789 swerved into the southbound lane, striking James Michael Evans, 28, before leaving the scene without reporting the incident.
