OMV encouraging customers to reschedule appointments due to global outages
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles is reporting varying degrees of outages at its offices statewide due to the global IT outages. Earlier today, the OMV could not process any transactions, and while systems are starting to come back online, customers will likely still experience wait times at their OMV offices, officials said.
