USM extends grace period, adds payment kiosks after automated parking complaints
GORHAM (WGME) -- The University of Southern Maine has made some tweaks to its automated parking systems in Gorham and Portland after parent and student complaints. The system, which went live last year, uses a combination of cameras and artificial intelligence to track license plates coming and going from campus parking lots.
