Crash on Highway 79 eight miles south of Hannibal injures one
A two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 79, approximately eight miles south of Hannibal, at 5:35 p.m. on July 25, 2024, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2012 Chrysler 200, driven by Anthony J. Viviano, 22, of St. Louis, was traveling eastbound when it failed to yield to a 2020 Dodge Ram, driven by William E. Strieker, 65, of New London, heading northbound. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene by their respective owners.
