Lindy Atkins: Hamilton Elementary teacher truly loves her work

Lindy Atkins wears many hats. She runs a small spray-tanning business out of her pool house. She has an online clothing store, Lindy’s Lucky Loft. She’s run 14 half marathons and one full. And she’s also a kindergarten teacher at Hamilton Elementary School.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Atkins says there’s nowhere else she’d rather be. Her father was a paraplegic, so she and her fraternal twin sister were “miracle babies,” she said. And because their father needed a lot of care, they grew up as hard workers.
