Aug 3, 2024- We’re hearing word tonight that a DeSoto Central baseball player has died in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in Olive Branch. Olive Branch police were called to the 4600 block of Terrace Stone Drive about 1:19 a.m. Saturday morning to a motor vehicle crash with injuries. JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - The Biloxi Police Bomb Squad is in Jackson County attempting to remove what appears to be an unexploded military artillery shell. JCSD is asking people to avoid the area across from Lake Forest subdivision off Seaman Road. The road is closed in both directions as law enforcement waits for military personnel from Pensacola, Florida to arrive and remove the shell.
