Former Alabama walk-on cornerback dies in North Carolina days after car accident
Former Alabama walk-on cornerback Terrance Howard, who was part of the Tide's 2023 team, died Thursday from injuries sustained in a car accident last month. Howard played high school football in Missouri City, Texas and spent last season as a freshman walk-on at Alabama. He entered the transfer portal in April and committed in May to transfer to North Carolina Central University.

Disturbances in Sallis Keep Deputies Busy Friday
SALLIS, Miss.–A fight between a man and a woman at the Dollar General in Sallis had Attala County deputies looking for a man driving a Lincoln Town Car Friday night about 7. It was not clear from police radio communication exactly what went down inside the store. But, when deputies were called the man, who had a Choctaw County tag, took off.
