OBITUARY: Isabelle Williams Reynolds

Isabelle Williams Reynolds, 93, of Hamlet went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2024 at her residence.

She was born May 12, 1931, in Richmond County to the late Carson and Evie Williams.

Isabelle enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on Sunday when she would cook a big meal and have all of her siblings, children and grandchildren gathered around the table. She would always gather up her siblings to go “up the road’ as they called it, shopping, after they went to every yard sale that they could find. She loved playing video games, especially with her grandsons Aaron and Andy, when they were younger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack William Lence; son, William Dennis Lence, and wife, Pam; siblings, Martha Smith, Shelton Williams, Faye Helton, Elle Tanner, Helen Grant, Linda Taylor, Leona Kellis and Ruth Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Donna Meece (Carl) of Rockingham, David Lence (Sue) of Hamlet, Ruth Walters (Billy) of Hamlet and Jennie Perhealth of Rockingham; grandchildren, Johnny Maness (Jess) of Cordova, Kim Kelly of Rockingham, Tracey Goodwin (Trey) of Rockingham, Shannon Rory (Jason) of Hamlet, Aaron Walters of Utah, and Michael Andrew Gathings of Rockingham; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Watson of Ohio, Branden Kelly of Rockingham, Dylon Goodwin (Madison) of Rockingham, Hunter Otuel of Cordova and Hannah, Hunter, Harley and Malachi of Hamlet.

A private memorial will be held at a later date with the immediate family.
