First Alert Forecast | Passing Rain Eases The Heat
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A pulse of widespread showers and rumbles passed through this morning, slickening the streets but blessing the dormant and parched lawns out there. Temperatures started in the upper 60s and lower 70s and will hold in the lower and middle 80s this afternoon owing to the plethora of clouds and clusters of showers. Severe weather is not expected with these, and any flooding from downpours should stay isolated. There will be rain-free times as well, but more clouds than sunshine. Overnight lows will drift back down to the upper 60s under quieter skies.
