Classic boat show to be held in Hammondsport

HAMMONDSPORT, N.Y. ( WETM ) — Visitors at Hammondsport’s Depot Park will get to see some unique boats docked on Keuka Lake next weekend.

Wine County Classic Boats is holding its 41st Annual Classic Boat Show on Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21. Like the name suggests, the docks at Depot Park will be lined with classic boats for the show, and this year, some Canadian boats will be on display.

The boat show will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday. The boats and docks will be removed as soon as the show ends, so be sure to check out all of the classic boats while you have a chance.

Docked boats aren’t the only attraction for this event; the park will be filled with land displays and vendors. Additionally, Saturday afternoon will feature a boat parade at 3 p.m., and Sunday will feature an old-fashioned water skiing exhibition starting at 10 a.m.

Boat owners participating in the show will have their boats judged on Saturday morning, and award winners will be announced after a 7 p.m. dinner at the Finer Lakes Boating Museum.
