Propane leak causes evacuation in Tuesday’s storm
WILLIAMSBURG, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — In Williamsburg, a tree came down on a 500 gallon propane tank and vehicle. The propane tank was reported to be nearly full and as a result of the leak and resulting high levels of gas in the areas, residents were evacuated to the Anne T. Dunphy School. One home on Williams Street refused to evacuate, no update yet on the residents’ wellbeing.

SPRINGFIELD — The Department of Public Works will be starting trash, recycling and yard waste collections at 6 a.m. to beat the heat on Wednesday.
