Peabody Is Asking Residents To Cut Back On Water Usage
PEABODY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The City of Peabody has asked residents to curtail their water usage due to low water-reservoir levels. Peabody is the second North Shore community to face water restrictions, after Danvers and Topsfield saw similar ones implemented last week. Peabody is taking a slightly different approach to the restrictions by making them voluntary.

An EF-1 tornado with 110 mph winds touched down in New Hampshire during a bout of severe thunderstorms Tuesday evening, according to the National Weather Service. The tornado touched down in Lyme just before 7:30 p.m. and traveled 1.8 miles in approximately seven minutes, the weather service said in its report.
