Another hot, humid day Sunday, with storms possible later on
MINNEAPOLIS — Sunday will be another hot and humid day in the Twin Cities, with storms arriving in the evening.Temperatures reached 90 degrees for the third time this year.Most of the day will be dry, but storms become likely late in the evening and into the night. They'll develop out west and move across central Minnesota before shifting south and east, hitting the Twin Cities along the way.The severe threat is low, but flash flooding and strong winds are possible.Some storms will linger into early Monday, and another round is expected midweek.The hot and humid pattern continues through the week, with highs in the upper 80s.

Two unrelated shootings in Minneapolis within 10 minutes; two suffer life-threatening injures
MINNNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are investigating two different shootings that happened around 7 p.m. Saturday.The first shooting happened near the 2600 block of Third Avenue South. Officers were called to the scene on report of a shooting and found a man with life-threatening injuries. They provided CPR until EMS could arrive. The man was taken to Hennepin Healthcare. The second shooting happened around 10 minutes later near the 2500 block of Cedar Avenue South. A man was found near the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue South with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers provided medical aid before the victim was taken to Hennepin Healthcare. Police say the man was walking on 2500 block of Cedar after meeting a group when he was shot. He then ran a block before he collapsed. Police are investigating both shootings. An arrest has not been made in either shooting. Police say the two shootings do not appear to be related.
Man shot at St. Paul bus stop in critical condition, police say
ST. PAUL, Minn. — A man in his 20s is in critical condition after a shooting on Saturday afternoon at a bus stop near one of St. Paul's most busy intersections.The Metro Transit Police Department says it happened at about 3:30 p.m. on Snelling Avenue near Spruce Tree Drive, just south of University Avenue West.Police say the victim is recovering at Regions Hospital. No one is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
