Boone, Crockett looking to contend for Region 1-5A title again
The Musket Bowl has become a lot more significant in recent years. And rightfully so, with a conference championship often hanging in the balance as of late. Between 2017-22, either David Crockett or Daniel Boone won the Region 1-5A championship five of those six years. The one exception was Tennessee High’s conference title in 2019. Crockett won two out of three between 2018 and 2020, while Boone followed its 2017 championship by going back-to-back in 2021 and 2022.
