CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The battle continues between tropical moisture offshore and unseasonably dry air over land. The end result will be a weekend with a partly to mostly cloudy sky and a few showers and storms from time to time. The best rain chance will be near the coast. Don’t cancel any weekend plans - there will be plenty of dry time over the next couple days. Highs will top out in the mid 80s today, upper 80s on Sunday. By early next week, the rain chance will fade and it will be a return of the hotter weather. Highs will reach 90 on Monday with low to mid 90s Tuesday through Friday.

Charleston, SC - Connor Hujsak connected for a go-ahead, three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh, guiding the Charleston RiverDogs to a 7-6 win over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on Friday night. CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department says two men are facing more than a dozen charges after a search warrant was executed in an ongoing investigation. Keith Middleton, 26, of Charleston, is charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, possession of a stolen handgun and cruelty to animals.
