KNIGHTSTOWN – Ethan Creed of Hancock County was among 75 youth from 32 counties to recently graduate from the Indiana Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy. The program is based in Knightstown and has graduated 2,600 students since 2007. HCYA offers military-based training to at-risk youth ages 16-18 who have not yet graduated from high school.

Hancock County commissioner held in jail on felony sexual assault warrant
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A Hancock County official was arrested and awaits extradition after he was accused of sexual assault in Nevada. Online court records show a warrant for Hancock County Commissioner John Jessup, (R), of Shirley, was issued out of Las Vegas on June 11.
