Court docs: Hancock Co. man faces more than 220 charges for violating no-contact order
HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. – A Hancock County man faces more than 220 charges after investigators say he violated a no-contact order. According to court documents, Bailey Calamity Matrix, 20, of Greenfield, was arrested in April in a domestic battery case. He was accused of beating up a woman on April 10. In that case, police responded to a Walmart store and found the victim bleeding and suffering from a bruised eye.

Indiana Commissioner faces Sexual Assault Allegations in Nevada; Arrested after Probe by Authorities
A Hancock County Commissioner is being held in a local jail until he can be sent to Las Vegas to face sexual assault charges there. The 49-year-old John D. Jessup was caught last week and is now being held in the Shelby County Jail for a crime that happened in a different county. Jessup is a Hancock County Commissioner who works with the townships of Vernon, Green, and Brown.

The exhibit hall and commercial vendors are open from 5-9 p.m. Thursday. The Barnyard Revue Show and Pig Races are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Community Plaza. HANCOCK COUNTY — A Greenfield man who was arrested by county officials for domestic battery charges in early April is now facing another issue. Officials with the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office have opened a new case against the man and charged him with over 220 invasion of privacy crimes and felony obstruction of justice charges.
