The carnival is open from 6-10 p.m. featuring a “Two for Tuesday” deal where two people ride for the price of one. Barnyard pig races and shows are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the community plaza.

Greenfield teenager charged as adult in drug and gun case
HANCOCK COUNTY — A Greenfield teenager is facing eight different drug and gun charges in relation to an incident in March when he was 17 years old. County officials say the teenager, who turned 18 on April 14, will be charged as an adult. Judge D.J. Davis of Hancock County Superior Court 1 signed a waiver order June 10 following a hearing June 5 allowing the case to be moved to adult court.

Local leaders joined officials from Aqua Indiana to cut the ribbon on its Western Hancock Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion project at 3511 N. CR 500W in Greenfield, which underwent a significant expansion to double the plant’s capacity and support the region’s projected growth.
Fortville woman killed in multi-vehicle crash
HANCOCK COUNTY — Officials from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department say a Fortville woman was killed in a crash.
