Pet of the Week - Noodle
We are pleased to introduce Noodle! Like spaghetti, this girl can appear rigid and fragile before being warmed up… but once you give her 7-9 minutes, per cooking instructions, she’ll show you her soft side! The secret to her love? Simple - butt scratchies! Once you get petting, Noodle starts flopping over and showing her belly for more love. Typically we advise against reaching into a cat’s hidey bed, but Miss Noodle gets some of her best pets in there! She uses the sides of the bed to propel herself into your petting, then comes out of her hidey bed for more. Noodle spent some time in the community room and did well with other cats, but we found that she was getting overlooked and missing out on attention. Now, Noodle has her own lobby cage and is already much more brave and is enjoying the attention! Noodle is a young lady, around 1 or 2 years old, who needs to be indoors only. She is spayed and up to date on all medical treatments, including distemper, rabies, flea/tick preventatives, and deworming. Noodle would do best decompressing in a room of her own when first going home to get used to this big change, but also having someone willing to sit with her and give her love to help her warm up! She’ll likely always be a little “al dente”, but her softer side is coming out more and more as folks show her love and attention. If you’re interested in this perfect little Noodle, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.spchahancockcounty.org. You can also visit her Tuesday-Saturday from 12 to 4 at the the SPCA of Hancock County!
