    Man killed after reportedly driving wrong way on Mississippi highway when he collided with another vehicle

    A Louisiana man was killed in a weekend two-vehicle accident on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

    Officials from the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that Benjamin Harrison, 42, of Mandeville, Louisiana, was killed in a wreck that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Mississippi 607 in Hancock County.

    According to MHP reports, a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas driven by Sarah Saunders, 38, of Pearl River, Louisiana, was traveling southbound on Highway 607 when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Harrison.

    MHP said the Silverado was traveling northbound in 607′s southbound lane.

    Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene., MHP said

    The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
