The New York State Fair is bringing back the Dinosaur Exhibition for some jurassic fun. The interactive, educational experience featuring 60 true-to-life-size, prehistoric, life-like dinosaurs will be at the 2024 NYS Fair for its entire 13-day run. A number of tri-state area residents reported feeling a shaking or hearing a loud boom Tuesday morning leading to quite the mystery. NASA is estimating a meteor passed through the area between 10 a.m. and noon and would account for people saying they saw a fireball in the sky. NASA said simultaneous military activity in the area may account the shaking or boom residents felt.
St. Zita’s Village Sold, Partial Sale to Bobover Yeshiva
St Zita’s Village, the 14-acre property at the corner of North Saddle River Dr. and Grove Street, has been sold for $12 million dollars. The property was bought by a Suffern-based developer who then resold close to an acre to Bobov. The lot is located right near the Bobov yeshivah ketana, Ateres Shloime, which is currently located on a neighboring property on Grove Street.
