    Woman critically injured after DUI crash in Hanford, CHP says

    HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – California Highway Patrol in Hanford says one woman is in critical condition after a crash that led to her truck rolling over off the roadway.

    CHP officials say around 7 a.m. Wednesday the Fresno Communications Center received a call of a crash in the area of Flint Avenue, East of Highway 43.

    Officials say, after an investigation, they were able to determine that a 22-year-old woman driving a white 2006 Chevrolet 1500 truck at an unknown speed westbound on Flint Avenue.

    The woman reportedly made an unsafe turning motion to the right and traveled off the roadway, after which her vehicle overturned several times, according to CHP.

    CHP officials also say the woman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, causing critical injuries.

    The woman was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
