Dubuque School Board Approved Sales Tax Revenue Bond Funding For Two Elementary Building Updates
The Dubuque Community School Board gave their approval to using nearly $15 million in sales tax revenue bonds to fund upcoming renovation projects at two elementary schools. This week the school board voted to approve the action following a public hearing. The funds will be used for a gymnasium addition at Eisenhower Elementary and to install air conditioning inside the full Irving Elementary building.

Finding ways to cut costs on Sheldon High School’s $33 million expansion and renovation project is tedious work. Sheldon School District superintendent Cory Myer worked with the school’s contracted companies, W.A.
