UPDATE: Fundraiser held to benefit Pleasants Co. deputy
ST. MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) - UPDATE 7-26-24 6:40 p.m. Almost $2,000 were raised for Deputy Rhodes according to Subway Store Manager Beth Ramey. They received $955 in the donation jar and the owners William “Doc” Holistar and wife Kristy Holistar made a donation of $1,000 based off of the proceeds made during the fundraiser.
Fire breaks out in Bellaire home, all occupants and pets unharmed
BELMONT COUNTY, OH — On Thursday night, a house fire broke out in Bellaire near Noble and 36th streets. Authorities on scene say a bed caught fire on the second floor of the home a little after 9 p.m. Both the police and fire departments from Martins Ferry and Bellaire responded.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife announced that the fishing boat seized from Chase Cominsky, 37, of Hermitage, Pa., was sold through an online auction Tuesday.
