One airlifted from reported industrial accident at factory in Conewago Township

A victim was airlifted after an industrial accident was reported in Adams County Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene of a reported industrial accident at a factory on the first block of Filbert Street in Conewago Township around 8:47 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, according to Adams County 911 records.

A medical helicopter was called to the scene and landed at nearby Diller Field along North Blettner Avenue.

One victim was seen transported to the medical helicopter, which departed the scene.

Conewago Township police were seen on the scene.

Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services was assisted by Community Life Team EMS and STAT MedEvac on the scene.
