Cleary Rated Best Bang for Your Buck Among MI Private, Non-Profit Schools
Cleary University earns top honors in Michigan for its return on investment among private, non-profit schools. According to the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity, students who earn their bachelor’s degree in business from Cleary will earn an average of $1.1 million over their lifetime. That's almost $200,000 more than the school ranked second in the state.

Man taken to hospital after crashing car into Jackson church
JACKSON, MI -- A man was taken to the hospital after a medical emergency caused him to crash into a Jackson church on Saturday, officials said. The Jackson fire and police departments were called around 1:30 p.m. July 20, to the intersection of S. Washtenaw ISD Awarded $5.6 million Grant to Provide Early Childhood Educational Opportunities
With help from a federal grant, the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) will continue to offer educational opportunities to preschool-age kids. The WISD announced on July 22, the “Office of Head Start (OHS), a part of the federal Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families, awarded a $5.6 million grant to the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) to continue providing Head Start preschool for 3- and 4-year-old students and Early Head Start home-based home visiting for families with children ages birth to 3.”
