Hampton woman arrested after allegedly firing gun into neighbor's apartment, police say
HAMPTON, N.H. — A woman is in custody after she allegedly fired a bullet into her neighbor's apartment in Hampton on Friday, authorities said. The Hampton Police Department said they were called to Old English Apartments on Winnacunnet Road around 3:15 a.m. for a report of a woman who was banging on her neighbor's door and yelling. Authorities said officers warned the woman, Erin McCarthy, 38, of Hampton, that if they had to return for similar complaints, she would be charged with disorderly conduct.

Next weekend, on July 27, 24-year-old Natalie Noble will attempt to do the most pull-ups completed by a woman in a 24-hour period. Natalie, a trainer at Flight House Gym in Rye, New Hampshire, set this goal for herself over nine months ago. She said that while doing pull-ups, she kept "hitting a wall" and could not get past her current pull-up numbers.

Police search for stolen camper
TOPSHAM, Vt. (WCAX) - Police are searching for a stolen camper that was taken from a Topsham residence on Friday morning. The Gulf Stream camper was last seen Friday morning in the area of Vermont Route 25 and Village Road in Corinth. Police say the suspect vehicle is a red Toyota Tundra.

Donna Briggs Foundation Holds Second Annual Tourney
Members of the Donna Briggs Foundation held their second annual Cornhole Tournament and Auction on Saturday, July 13, at the Hudson VFW Post 5791. Briggs, of Derry, who was a retired police Sgt. with the Hudson Police Department, was tragically killed while riding her bike along Route 125 in Kingston back in 2021. She was training for her second Police Unity Tour when she was struck from behind in a hit and run accident.
West Wheelock purchases seek to address housing shortage
On June 21, Dartmouth finalized the purchase of four West Wheelock Street properties as part of an effort to increase housing options, according to the Student Affairs webpage. The $23.5 million acquisition of 14, 16, 41 and 43 West Wheelock — which join five College properties on the north side of the street — makes Dartmouth the largest landowner on West Wheelock Street.
