Attendance at this year's Snack Town Street Fair surpassed expectations, officials said.

"We are estimating approximately 15,000 attendees this year," said Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce President Sarah Messer.

Many vendors were sold out by around 1 p.m. due to turnout that surpassed expectations, Messer said.

The chamber of commerce had anticipated around 12,000 visitors, according to a press release prior to the event.

That number came from the attendance at last year's event, Messer said, which was estimated to be around 12,000.

The event had featured 225 vendors, with multiple musical guests, more than 20 food trucks and food vendors,

"Snack Town Street Fair really highlighted all that Hanover has to offer and was a great display of community unity that included local businesses and vendors sharing their talents from across Pa. and the Mid-Atlantic," said Messer.

Next year's Snack Town Street Fair will be held on July 12, 2025, according to a post on the event's Facebook page.
