A local tow company has introduced two new containment units to reduce the dangers of electric vehicles on their lots.

Mike's Towing & Recovery, based in Hanover and York, has introduced two dedicated "EV Units" to their lots, said owner Michael Walls.

As the popularity of electric cars has increased, the unpredictable nature of battery fires has left Walls and other tow operators to adapt to the risks of towing and storing damaged electric vehicles on their lots.

"They're just unpredictable," said Walls. "We don't know when they're going to catch fire."

The best thing I ate: C&D!

C&D Bar and Grill in Cross Keys is definitely a favorite spot of mine!

They have all sorts of really good food, but I've always been a really big fan of their pasta.

You might not expect to get anything special out of a marinara sauce pasta, but this was a really tasty and flavorful meal! The sauce was a roasted tomato-basil sauce, which had a lot of taste to it.

That's just one of the countless options they have on their lunch menu, and they're always delicious for dinner, too.

If any of y'all have feedback, pet photos, or questions, feel free to send them over to my email at hjones@gannett.com ! I will do my best to answer any questions if I can, and I will be happy to highlight any comments y'all might have.

That's it for your Monday Daily Briefing! See you tomorrow!
